Sakina Haider

Sakina Haider currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the CEO at Nesta since August 2025. Prior experience includes roles at the International Rescue Committee as Associate Director of the Strategy and Delivery Unit and positions as Senior Strategy Manager and Strategy Manager from March 2021 to June 2025. Prior to this, Sakina worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Department of Health and Social Care focused on COVID-19 at the Joint Biosecurity Centre. An academic background includes a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford. Additional experience includes consulting at The Boston Consulting Group and internships with the Clinton Global Initiative, The Home Office, and Barclays Investment Bank.
