Oscar Garcia

Oscar Garcia is a seasoned regulatory affairs professional with extensive experience in environmental compliance and advocacy for renewable energy. Currently serving as the Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager for Neste since January 2022, Oscar leads initiatives for renewable energy at the state and provincial levels across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to this role, Oscar spent nearly a decade at Chevron, holding several key positions including Refinery Environmental Air Manager, where oversight of air quality regulations was paramount, and Carbon Compliance Coordinator, focusing on California's AB32 compliance. Oscar began the career at ERM as a Senior Air Quality Engineer, managing projects in various sectors, and initially worked as a Staff Air Quality Engineer at HDR. Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
