Esa Pekkarinen

Esa Pekkarinen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence, supply chain management, and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Business Partners at Neste since November 2017, Esa oversees maintenance and project service partnerships to ensure safe refinery operations. Previous roles at ABB included Head of the Global Program Management Office, where responsibilities encompassed HR transformation and operational excellence initiatives, as well as various managerial positions focusing on supply chain management, quality, and safety. Esa began a career in maintenance and project management with companies such as Fortum and Myllykoski, and holds a Master of Science in Technology from LUT University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
