Nicole Short has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Nicole began their career as a Nutrition Education Manager at the Women Infants and Children (WIC) Program in 1999. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Clinical RD/Manager at Magee Rehabilitation, where they managed care for spinal cord and brain injured patients. Nicole then joined Nestle in 2006 as a National Manager for Surgical Nutrition, where their responsibilities included mentoring and managing a sales team, developing sales strategies, and establishing target goals and objectives. In 2018, they became the Director of National Accounts, Acute Care at Nestle Health Science USA, before moving on to become the Division Vice President of Commercial Sales at Nestlé Health Science in 2020. Throughout their career, Nicole has demonstrated a strong knowledge of healthcare economics and the ability to link evidence-supported outcomes to a value proposition specific to the target account.
Nicole Short holds a Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences from Immaculata University, which they obtained between 1996 and 2005. Prior to that, they also completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences at the same institution during the same period.
