Sanjay Gupta

Sanjay Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Sanjay started their career as a Technologist at Nestlé in 1996, where they contributed to the development of new products and participated in the commissioning of a new production facility. In 2002, they joined Dreyers Grand Ice Cream as a Senior Process Engineer, where they provided process engineering support for various products and managed collaborations with international factories. In 2011, they returned to Nestlé as a Maintenance Manager and later became a Section Leader and Senior Process Engineer, responsible for key process technologies. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of University Lecturer at California State University, Bakersfield, and taught until 2022. Presently, they hold the position of Senior Principal Scientist at Nestlé Health Science.

Sanjay Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 1991 to 1997. Prior to that, they earned a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 1987 to 1991. In addition, they have obtained certifications in ISO 22000 Lead Auditor - Food Safety and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality from Kelmac Group in 2019.
