Vivek Savant

Vivek Savant has over 17 years of work experience in various roles related to product development and innovation. Vivek has worked at companies like Nestlé Health Science, Nestlé, Gerber Products (Novartis Company), Wysong Corp., and Oregon State University. At Nestlé Health Science, Vivek served as the Global Head of Product Development, where they led a team across 26 global markets in medical nutrition and VMS. Vivek has expertise in technology drivers such as Solid Dose, Aseptic, Agglomeration, and Concentration matrices, as well as category drivers like Acute Care, Pediatrics, Metabolic Health, and Wellness. Prior to this role, they held the positions of Sr. Director and Director of Product Development at Nestlé. Additionally, they worked in various capacities at Nestlé, including Manager of Innovation and PM & Sr. Scientist in Corporate Innovation, Technology, and R&D. Vivek also held roles at Gerber Products as a Food Technologist, at Wysong Corp. as a Research Scientist in Functional Foods, and at Oregon State University as a Research Associate.

Vivek Savant earned a PhD in Food Chemistry from Oregon State University from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Life Sciences (Biotechnology) from St. Xavier's College in 1993.
