Justin Schmidt

Justin Schmidt is an experienced professional in the field of regulatory and scientific affairs, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Head of Regulatory & Scientific Affairs at Nestlé Purina North America since November 2016, Justin has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Quality and Division Manager of Upstream Q&FS. Prior experience includes positions at Royal Canin as Quality Manager for North American Supply, and at Virbac as Auditor III and Compliance Lead. Earlier roles include Analytical Chemist at Ivy Animal Health, Wastewater Analyst at Bio-Microbics, and Laboratory Technician at K-Force Scientific. Justin began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens Pharmacy. Justin holds a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has further education from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and St. Louis University High School.
