Benjamin Destrempes has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Benjamin started as a Consultant at BCI Bedrich Consulting Inc from 2008 to 2016. Following this, they worked as a Freelance IT Consultant & Service Provider, where they specialized in web design and marketing, collaborating with clients from project conception to delivery and support, from 2010 to 2018.

From 2018 to 2020, Benjamin worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Optania, focusing on VueJS and Laravel. Benjamin contributed to the development of full-stack web applications, including an AI-powered student monitoring application and a mobile chatbot designed to enhance the transitioning experience for students entering higher education.

In 2020, Benjamin joined Ubisoft Saguenay as a Web Developer, specializing in React, TypeScript, and GraphQL. Benjamin integrated and maintained micro frontends within the Ubisoft Connect platform across various devices. Benjamin also developed reusable React components to enhance feature development and improve code quality for teams globally.

Presently, Benjamin is working at nesto, starting in 2022. Benjamin has held positions as a Senior Frontend Developer and currently as a Staff Frontend Engineer & Frontend Technical Lead. Following this, from 2014 to 2017, Benjamin attended Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinésiologie, specializing in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
