Richard Lord

Richard is a veteran of the telecommunications industry. He started his career with Alcatel in Paris working on the development of digital land-line switches through analogue mobile systems to GSM project. He went on to hold senior technical and product management positions with Motorola’s cellular infrastructure division and represented Motorola in several ETSI standards groups. Richard was CTO of Altobridge and prior to this he was a Systems Architect in LogicaCMG’s wireless products division. Today he heads up iDirect’s R&D operations in Ireland.
