Galen Ostermann

Galen Ostermann serves as the Global Security Operations Center Manager for UCAN & LATAM at Netflix, leading a team of 25 analysts and operators in 24/7 security monitoring and crisis response. With extensive experience in protective intelligence and threat management, Galen has previously held roles at Bogaard Group International, Concentric Advisors, and PINKERTON, focusing on corporate security threats and risk analysis for major organizations, including Google and Facebook. Galen's career began with intelligence analysis in conflict zones, including Iraq and Libya, and was supplemented by research internships at the United Nations and The Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture. Galen holds a Master’s degree in Intelligence & International Security from King's College London and a Bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations from McGill University.
