Donald Bitters

Donald Bitters has extensive work experience in the field of IT and infrastructure. Donald started their career as a Supervisor and Consultant at Academic Computing in 1999, where they managed computer lab facilities and provided troubleshooting and consulting services.

In 2000, they joined PCIQ Enterprise Learning as a Systems Administrator, responsible for maintaining internal networks, servers, workstations, and computer labs. Donald also built temporary education labs for regional hospitals and large companies, and regularly rebuilt systems as needed.

In 2001, Donald founded Insight Solution Systems, where they offered Systems Integration and design services, focusing on security, system overhaul, and redesign. Donald also managed security and remote secure VPN access for mobile employees and conducted network and security audits.

In 2002, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Amcom Office Systems, providing IT design, management, and maintenance services for corporate clients. Donald also handled SQL and database design, network administration, troubleshooting, and security.

Donald joined Afinety, Inc. in 2005 as a TEKsystems Contractor and became an essential member of the team. Donald overhauled the company's Managed Services, redesigned server builds, and improved security standards. Donald also provided guidance on firewalls and security. Donald later served as a Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer, responsible for day-to-day activities, personnel resource allocation, and telecom, data, and server operations.

From 2014 to 2019, Donald held the role of Infrastructure Operations Manager at Afinety, where they managed the Infrastructure Department and oversaw cloud infrastructure services, design, security, and monitoring. Donald was also part of the team that created the company's cloud platform and services.

Currently, Donald works at Afinety, Inc. as a Systems Architect, responsible for ACP Design, technical specifications, agreement offerings, and the management and reliability of cloud servers and infrastructure.

Additionally, Donald has been a Systems Architect at Netgain Technology, LLC since 2018, where they utilize their expertise in infrastructure design.

Prior to that, they earned an Associate Secondary degree in Network Security Analyst with CISSP Add-on from the same college, attending from 2003 to 2005.
