Shunliang Yu

Shunliang Yu has a diverse range of experience in RF hardware design and engineering. Shunliang started their career at Foxconn in 2000, where they worked as a Senior HW Engineer and later as a Senior HW Design Engineer. At Foxconn, they managed RF hardware design teams and worked on various projects involving wireless AP, Bluetooth, GPS, DECT Phone, STB, and Cable Modem. Their responsibilities included project design and development, selecting chipsets and RF components, conducting hardware and RF DVT tests, optimizing WiFi system performance, and defining MFG test specifications to improve yield rates. Shunliang also conducted hardware circuit failure analysis, EMI review and debug, and desense debug. In 2013, Shunliang Yu joined NETGEAR, where they initially worked as a Staff WLAN HW Design Engineer and eventually progressed to the role of Director, RF HW design. At NETGEAR, they have been responsible for directing RF HW design, managing teams, and overseeing wireless HW design projects.

Shunliang Yu completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Yuan-Ze University between 1994 and 1998.
