Anita Lygeroudi is a graduate student at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience since December 2022, following a role as a Regeneration Finalist at ReGeneration from June to October 2021. Previously, Anita worked as a Clinical Lab Molecular Biologist at Central Lab for one year and completed a Bachelor’s thesis on “Sortilin 1B Methylation as a Potential Diagnostic Biomarker in Lung Cancer” while studying at the University of Liverpool. An internship at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens in June and July 2018 provided experience in translational neurobiology. Anita holds a Master's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Crete and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace.
