Joseph Carr, ME, CISSP-ISSEP, CCSP, CISM

Joseph Carr has worked in various roles in the field of cybersecurity over the past 16 years. Joseph Carr, started their career in 2005 as a UNIX Systems Administrator Associate, working at Lockheed Martin. Joseph Carr, later worked as a cybersecurity engineer in different roles at Honeywell, GRSI, Netizen Corporation, and Scientific Research Corporation before becoming a Senior Technical Portfolio Manager at Praescient Analytics. In their most recent role as Director of Cybersecurity at Netizen Corporation, Joseph is responsible for obtaining RMF ATOs for PM ST systems under PEO STRI, managing relationships with partner organizations, and responding to new business opportunities within the federal sector. Joseph Carr, is a ME, CISSP-ISSEP, CCSP, and CISM certified professional.

Joseph Carr earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, and Information Systems from Drexel University in 2005. Joseph Carr, then pursued a Master of Engineering degree with a specialization in Systems Engineering and Space Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2011. In addition to their formal education, Carr obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CISSP - Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Network+, LPIC-1, Linux+, Server+, and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). Joseph Carr, also became a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) in 2021 and a Fully Qualified Navy Validator in 2014.
