Phil Hawksworth

Phil Hawksworth has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Phil started as a Technical Analyst at CSK Software in 1999 and then worked as a Developer at A Bilbrough & Co Ltd from 2003 to 2005. After that, they moved on to work as a Developer at Propero from 2005 to 2006, and then as a Software Engineer at Verisign from 2006 to 2007. Phil then joined BT as a Creative Developer, where they developed web applications and advocated open source practices as a member of BT's open source innovations team from 2007 to 2009. Phil then worked as a Technical Director at The Team Brand Communications Limited from 2009 to 2011. Phil's next role was as a Technology Director at R/GA from 2011 to 2017, where they eventually became the Group Technology Director. Currently, Phil is serving as the Director of Developer Experience at Netlify since December 2017.

Phil Hawksworth attended Aston University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business.
