Rj Beers

RJ Beers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Software Engineering at Netlify since January 2022. Prior to this, RJ was a Senior Engineering Manager at Netlify from June 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Netlify, RJ worked at Oracle as a Senior Software Engineering Manager from June 2019 to January 2021. Previously at Oracle, they held the role of Software Engineering Manager from October 2016 to May 2019.

RJ also gained experience at Opower as a Web Implementation Engineering Manager from April 2016 to July 2016 and as an Implementation Engineer from April 2015 to March 2016. Before that, RJ worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Software Engineer from June 2012 to April 2014.

RJ started their career as a Resident Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University from August 2010 to May 2012. They also had internships at Sanofi Pasteur as a Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Intern in 2011 and at United Way of Monroe County as a Volunteer in 2010.

RJ Beers completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Penn State University between 2008 and 2012. They then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University from 2012 to 2014, however, did not complete the program. In November 2012, RJ Beers obtained a certification as a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council.
