Job Title: Data Reporting Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Reporting Analyst to join our team, where you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for making sure our complex data from multiple sources, flows in and out of our core tooling and analyzing complex business data, developing insightful reports and visualizations, and where appropriate, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders within the Customer Success organization as well as the broader Netradyne leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Tableau and a deep understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques.  Complementing the BI tool set, and where appropriate, the candidate should also be experienced building operational reporting and dashboards within the core business applications specific to the CS business (e.g., Gainsight & SFDC), to track KPIs and SLA performance in support of CS daily business management, governance, and operational cadences.

This candidate should also exhibit the ability to work directly with customers as required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify key metrics and KPIs for analysis across all customer sets with a focus on our largest customers first i.e. Amazon.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau BI tools to provide actionable insights.  Work across business teams to extract data from appropriate resources such as SFDC and our ERP tool.
  • Be the expert for our Datawarehouse integration to our core Customer Success tool (Gainsight), ensuring data exports are successfully completed, provide a c360 customer view
  • Analyze complex datasets from multiple sources, perform data mining, and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough data validation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of reports and analyses.
  • Proactively identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Support/Device Operations, Customer Success, Product Management, Business Systems/IT, data engineering, and other business units as required, to ensure data integrity, availability, and accessibility.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence and data visualization.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Provide guidance and training to functional team members to leverage data insights and consume content via the appropriate platforms.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, with a focus on data analysis and visualization using Tableau
  • Familiarity with and ability to extract data from common platforms like SalesForce and Netsuite.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehouse architecture.
  • Experience with data visualization best practices, using charts, graphs, and other visual elements to effectively convey information.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets to derive meaningful insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality management, and data privacy regulations is a plus.
