Technical Architect – Modern Datacenter

About The Opportunity

The Technical Architect – Modern Datacenter is responsible for the delivery of successful Microsoft 365 (M365) and infrastructure projects for global clients. The position will encompass leading projects of varying sizes. Assisting with pre-sales responsibilities as needed. Work closely with our Sales Teams to engage clients and deliver services. The position will also deliver workshops to clients and serve as a mentor to other team members.  

How You Will Make An Impact

• Design and implementation of large-scale Microsoft 365 migrations
• Ensure projects are delivered to customer satisfaction
• Delivery of successful Tenant to Tenant migrations
• Building expertise around new Microsoft 365 solutions
• Maintain a billable utilization target
• Lead workshops on Microsoft and other vendor solutions
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, emerging trends, and related technology.
• Able to articulate pros & cons of design/architecture decisions across a wide spectrum of factors - e.g. latency, storage, startup/shutdown, network, end-user experience, etc.
• Exchange Server expertise a plus for M365 migrations
• 3rd party migration tools from Quest, BitTitan, and AvePoint experience a plus
• Microsoft FastTrack experience as an architect and deployment engineer is a plus
• Provide subject matter expertise and support for SOW/proposals for Microsoft cloud solutions
• Continue to work to improve best practices for the engineering organization

What You Will Bring To The Table

• Experience presenting solutions to IT and other stakeholders.
• Ability to solve complex problems and present the problems and their resolution in a clear and concise fashion.
• Communicate deadlines and set expectations
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) migration experience
• VMware experience is a plus
• Hyper-V experience is a plus
• Veeam experience is a plus
• Functional PowerShell skills
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical consulting role
• Good business communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently with minimal oversight
• Ability to present in front of clients and peers
• Experience leading a team through complex migrations from design to execution
• Ability and willingness to adapt to changing business conditions
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the work
• Conscientious with an internal and external customer-centric mentality
• Mentor other team members
