Robert Sansom has a long history of involvement in the technology and bio-technology industries. Robert began their career in 2001, when they founded the Cambridge Angels, a group of high-net worth investors who invest in and mentor high-quality technology and bio-technology companies mostly in the Cambridge (UK) area. Robert held the role of Founder and Chairman until 2019. In 2005, they joined Netronome as a Director and Chairman, and in 2011 they joined CCS as a Director and Chairman. In 2012, they became an Investor for Connotate, and in 2014 they became a Director for Featurespace and an Advisor for Audio Analytic. In 2017, they joined Myrtle Software as a Director, and in 2011 they became a Fellow for the Royal Academy of Engineering | Enterprise Hub and a Supporter for the Cambridge Science Centre. In 2019, they joined IQGeo as a Director.
Robert Sansom earned their PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1988. Robert previously earned their Master of Arts (MA) in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in 1981.
