Ron Aceto

Ron Aceto has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Ron began their career as an Instructor of Computer Business Applications at Utica Proctor High School in 1991. Ron then worked as a Purchase Agent at North Colonie Central School District, where they were responsible for purchasing and inventory control. Ron also worked as an Instructor of Business Applications at Mildred Elley from 1992 to 1994.

In 1993, Ron joined Community Maternity Services as an Accountant/Network Administrator. Ron oversaw all accounts payable duties and performed various accounting functions. Ron also supported internal and external audit requests.

Ron then served as an MIS Director - Consultant at Lincoln Hall for a brief period in 1996. Later that year, they became a Trainer and Support Specialist at Defran Systems. Over the years, they took on roles such as Trainer and Support Specialist, Training, Support and Implementation Services Manager, and VP of Client Services and Product Management. In their last role at Defran Systems, from 2010 to 2013, Ron supervised a team of 15+ staff members and managed various departments.

From 2013 to 2017, Ron worked as the Director of Business Analytics at Necco.org. Ron played a pivotal role in managing and analyzing business data.

Currently, Ron is the Director and Principal Architect at Netsmart Technologies since 2017.

From 1986 to 1990, Ron Aceto attended the State University of New York at Oswego, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Science.
