Atul Bohara

Senior Research Engineer at Network Perception

Atul Bohara began their career in 2010 as a Project Fellow at BITS, Pilani. In 2012, they worked as a Software Development Intern at Yahoo Software Development Pvt. Ltd. and as a Software Engineer at Citrix. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Research Assistant at the Information Trust Institute, where they developed a network-level intrusion detection system and proposed a method to detect lateral movement attacks. In 2018 and 2019, they were a Senior Engineer (PhD Intern) at Reservoir Labs, creating an SDN testbed to assess new network optimization algorithms and studying Google's networking infrastructure and algorithms. Since 2020, they have been a Research Engineer at Network Perception.

Atul Bohara completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from Jai Narain Vyas University in 2010. Atul then went on to pursue a M.E. in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani in 2012. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2020.
