Ben Shaw

Ben Shaw is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and business administration. Currently employed at Network Rail since September 2014, Ben has held various titles including Project Sponsor, Portfolio Manager, and Scheme Project Manager, leading significant projects such as the East Coast Mainline Power Supply Upgrade and managing an annual project budget of approximately £10 million. Ben also undertook a six-month secondment as Senior Development Manager focused on the East West Rail Central Section. Prior to Network Rail, experience includes a summer internship at PwC and purchasing internships at Rolls-Royce, contributing to key cost-cutting projects and strategic procurement initiatives. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lancaster University, complemented by earlier studies at Solihull Sixth Form College and Alderbrook.
