Michael Truitt

Michael Truitt has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries.

Michael currently holds the position of Director, Cloud Infrastructure & Application Innovation Engineering at Neudesic, where they provide strategic leadership and solutions for growing cloud infrastructure and innovative practices. Michael is responsible for guiding and mentoring directors and individual contributors across technical practices, as well as facilitating client relationships and managing activities regarding current engagements and escalations. In this role, they have also served as a presales leader and solution architect for customer cloud proposals, covering various aspects including infrastructure, applications, data engineering, CI/CD, DevOps, and AI/ML.

Before their current role, Truitt worked as a Product Line Manager - Analytics & Digital Feedback at Wind River, where they spearheaded the strategic direction of analytics and digital feedback technologies, with a focus on IoT edge devices and RTOS software solution integrations with AWS and Azure platforms. Michael also played a key role in product launches, including licensing, legal review, digital marketing, and communications.

Prior to Wind River, Truitt served as the Director of Engineering at Indigo Slate, where they delivered optimal management of a professional team and created strategic plans and solutions for datacenter, AWS, and Azure development projects. Michael also acted as a solution architect for customer interactions and mentored both on and off-shore developers for project delivery.

Truitt also has significant experience working at Dell EMC, where they held multiple roles. As the Director of Engineering & Program Management, they established a global development and program management organization and supervised a team of professionals. Michael also served as the Director of Corporate Solutions Engineering, leading a global team of cloud architects focused on field enablement and executive escalation management. In addition, they worked as a Senior Product Manager and Senior Engineering Manager, contributing to the company's strategies and managing the development of EMC and Microsoft-based solutions.

Truitt started their career at Microsoft, where they held various roles. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, they spearheaded the development and oversight of the company's hybrid cloud strategy. Michael also worked as a Senior Program Manager and Technical Program Manager, managing development teams and driving product improvements through partner feedback. Additionally, they served as an OEM Technical Lead and Technical Team Lead, managing technical support interactions and leading product support teams.

Outside of the technology industry, Truitt has experience as a Teacher & Coach at Highline School District, where they taught high school subjects and coached basketball. Michael received recognition for developing innovative teaching techniques and lesson plans, as well as leading the basketball team to success.
