Rolando Avellan MBA, PMP, PSM I, A-CSM has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Rolando currently holds the position of Delivery Manager at Neudesic since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Information Technology Project Manager / Scrum Master at ICW Group from October 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining ICW Group, Rolando served as a Scrum Master/ IT Project Manager at ClosingCorp from March 2019 to October 2021. Rolando has also worked at National Regulatory Services, where they held the role of Lead Project Manager/Product Owner from November 2010 to March 2019.

Rolando also has entrepreneurial experience as Co Owner of Global Pacific Ventures Inc., a start-up specialized in international trade and consulting services for enterprises entering the U.S. market. Rolando operated this business from July 2012 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Rolando worked as an Operations Manager at Trilogy Capital Management LLC from January 2006 to November 2010. Rolando started their professional journey as a Legal Assistant at CIR Law Offices from June 2005 to December 2005. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Account Coordinator at OEM Manufacturing from August 2004 to May 2005. Rolando began their career as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at Convergys Corporation from March 2002 to June 2004.

Rolando Avellan holds an MBA degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their MBA, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the same university from 2007 to 2009. In 2004, they earned an Associates degree in Liberal Arts from South Plains College. Additionally, Rolando received their high school education at Colegio Javier from 1992 to 1997.

In terms of certifications, Rolando possesses an array of industry-recognized qualifications. Rolando obtained the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in May 2023, followed by the Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 certification from Microsoft in February 2023. In January 2023, they acquired the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Earlier, in November 2022, they completed the Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud: 3 Advanced Topics certification offered by LinkedIn. Furthermore, Rolando holds the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in December 2020. Rolando also obtained the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in October 2019. As for product ownership, they achieved the Scrum Product Owner Certified certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in July 2017.
