Thomas Copple

Thomas Copple is a seasoned professional in the coffee sector, currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Neumann Kaffee Gruppe since February 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Freelance Coffee Researcher, providing bespoke research for various clients, including the Specialty Coffee Association and Agrimoney Ltd. Thomas has also held positions as an Economist and Research Officer at the International Coffee Organization, where responsibilities included market analysis and data compilation for global supply and demand figures. Earlier roles involved serving as an ODI Fellow with the Ministry of the East African Community and the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry in Madagascar, focusing on trade, regional integration, and economic policy. Thomas earned an MSc in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a MA (Hons.) in Economics & Politics from The University of Edinburgh.
