Lorenz Frey

Lorenz Frey has a diverse work experience in various industries. Lorenz started their career as an Apprentice Architectural Draughtsman EFZ at Staub Architektur in 2010 and worked there for four years. After that, they served their civil service at the Archaeological Research Institute of Kanton Basel-Stadt for a few months in 2016. In 2019, they worked at Eidg. Forschungsanstalt WSL as part of their civil service, focusing on Forest Resources and Forest Management. In 2020, they interned at Mercedes-Benz AG, specializing in Drivetrain & Edrive. Following this, they joined ETH Zürich as a Teaching Assistant for Control Systems Laboratory from 2021 to 2022. In 2023, Lorenz joined Switzerland Tourism as a Market Research Interviewer for six months. Lorenz currently holds the role of Technical Business Developer at Neural Concept, starting from July 2023.

Lorenz Frey began their education in 2010 at Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel where they earned a Vocational Baccalaureate degree. Lorenz then attended Gymnasium Kirschgarten in 2015 for a Passerelle course before enrolling at ETH Zürich from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2020, Lorenz pursued an Exchange Semester in Autonomous Systems at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zürich, with an expected completion date yet to be determined.
