Lead Research Scientist at Neurala

Aishwary Jagetia has been working in the field of robotics and vision since 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Project Trainee at General Motors, where they were responsible for Productivity Improvement through Line Balancing Technique. In 2018, they joined Neurala as a Research Engineer, where they developed novel methods and architectures to improve the quality of image and video processing. Aishwary was also responsible for implementing data-set creation, transfer learning, training neural networks and device testing for tasks such as semantic/instance segmentation, object detection, tracking and video segmentation for multiple customers. In 2019, they were promoted to Lead Research Scientist and Robotics & Vision Scientist at Neurala. During their tenure, they deployed a semantic segmentation model in specialized embedded hardware with compression techniques, as well as optimizing the network to run efficiently on edge devices for the World’s leading non-US based mobile company.

Aishwary Jagetia has an education history that spans from 2001 to 2019. Aishwary began their education at St. Joseph Convent School, where they obtained their Secondary Education in 2009. Aishwary then attended DAV Public School, Pune from 2009 to 2010 and Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2011 to 2012, where they achieved their High School in Science: PCMB. In 2013, they obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY. In 2014, they attended The Berlin School of Economics and Law for the Berlin International Summer School in Mechanical Engineering, Language & Culture. In 2016, they received a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Finally, in 2019, they obtained their Master's degree in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In addition to their educational qualifications, Aishwary Jagetia has obtained numerous certifications, including Certified Robotics Engineer, Certificate of Participation in Robocon 2016, Certificate of Excellence, International Internship, Vehicle Overhauling, Freehand Sketch to Optimized Product: Computational Structural Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics, Certificate of Excellence for 3-axis Haptic Robotic arm, Participation in Shiamak Winter Funk 2013, Participation in Shiamak Summer Funk 2010, National Himalayan Nature Study-cum-Trekking Expedition, and Regional Abacus and Brain Gym Competition.
