Tanya Janca

Tanya Janca is the Director of Developer Relations & Community at NeuraLegion. Tanya has over 15 years of experience in the field of software development and security. Prior to joining NeuraLegion, Tanya was the CEO of Security Sidekick, a senior cloud advocate specializing in application security at Microsoft, and an application security and IT security analyst for the Canadian Federal Government.

Tanya is a faculty member at IANS and an advisory board member of Cloud Defense. Tanya is also the founder and CEO of We Hack Purple, a learning platform dedicated to teaching Application Security, DevSecOps, and Cloud Security. Tanya creates all content at this time and performs all in-person and online training and coaching.

Tanya Janca has a degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. Tanya also has a certification in French as a second language from the Alliance Francaise and the Académie de Formation Linguistique.
