Principal Scientist, Head Of Antibody Discovery And Automation at Neurimmune Holding

Benoit Combaluzier has over ten years of experience in antibody discovery and technology development, starting as an intern at CECA-Atofina, BayerCropScience, and New England Biolabs. Benoit then moved on to positions at 4-Antibody AG, where they worked on retrovirus technology and in vitro antibody library screening. Currently, at Neurimmune AG, they hold various roles from Scientist to Principal Scientist, where they lead antibody discovery programs, integrates novel technologies, and manages multiple complex robotic systems. Benoit'sresponsibilities include screening initiation, molecular cloning, recombinant expression, purification, and biochemical characterization of human-derived antibodies for in-house projects, as well as coordinating antibody discovery programs with internal and external teams for different indications.

Benoit Combaluzier completed their Baccalaureat in Science at Lycee Regis Vernet in 1998. Benoit then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics at Lycee Camille Vernet, Valence from 1998 to 2000. Benoit continued their studies at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier, where they obtained a Master/Engineer degree in Biochemistry from 2000 to 2004. Benoit then pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry/Immunology at Lund University from 2003 to 2004. Benoit completed their education with a Ph.D. in Infection Biology from the University of Basel from 2004 to 2008.
