Jan Sedway

Jan Sedway has extensive experience in the clinical science and research field. In 2003, they worked as a Clinical Instructor at UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing, where they served as a Clinical Instructor. Later, in 2003, they joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. In 2006, they transitioned to Syneos Health (previously INC Research/inVentiv Health) and held various roles, including Senior Assessment Specialist and Central Monitoring Manager in Clinical Training and Assessments. They then became a Consultant in Clinical Training and Assessments in 2009. From 2010 to 2018, Jan Sedway worked at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions, previously INC Research/inVentiv Health, as the Associate Director and later as the Director of Rater Training Services. In 2018, they joined Parexel International as the Associate Solution Consultant Director. Currently, Jan Sedway is employed at VeraSci, where they hold the position of Senior Clinical Scientist and Vice President of Clinical Science.

Jan Sedway earned a high school diploma from The Branson School in 1988. They then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan from 1988 to 1992. Jan continued their education and obtained a Master's and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1995 to 2002.
