Rob Coker has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rob is currently the Director of Engineering at Neurolutions since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bayer from 2019 to 2022, serving as both a Lead Data Scientist in the Digital Twin division and a Software Lead for Single Seed Systems.

From 2012 to 2019, Rob held multiple positions at Neurolutions Inc., including Principal Engineer/Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs. Rob was responsible for overseeing the development and FDA clearance of a stroke rehabilitation product. Additionally, they served as the Lead Software Developer during the development phase of the same product.

In 2001, Rob owned and served as the President of Pythagorean Development, Inc. Rob also worked as a Software Engineer at Progress Rail Services in 2012, a Software Developer at A123 Systems in 2011, and a Software/Systems Engineer Contractor at GE Transportation from 2004 to 2011.

During their career, Rob also worked as a Contract Software Engineer at ICOP Digital from 2007 to 2008, where they focused on improving a digital video content management system. Rob introduced version control and defect tracking software to enhance the development process.

Furthermore, Rob gained experience as a Contract Engineer at GE HARRIS HARMON from 1999 to 2004 and as a Systems Engineer at Thales ATM/Wilcox Electric from 1992 to 1994.

Rob Coker completed their education in a chronological manner. Rob began their academic journey at the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1987 to 1991. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management, with a focus on Electrical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1997 to 2000. Here, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Lastly, from 2011 to 2015, Rob Coker attended Washington University in St. Louis, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering.
