Inge Hillestad

Inge Hillestad is an experienced industry professional currently serving as VP of Product Management at Nevion, a Sony Group Company, since January 2013. Inge oversees the software-defined media node platform Virtuoso, managing technical specifications and software release planning, and has been instrumental in significant projects including ultra-low-latency video links for live remote production. Prior experience includes a tenure as Product Manager and Technical Services Manager at T-VIPS, overseeing video compression and transport product lines and providing essential sales support. Inge began a career in academia at NTNU, contributing as a researcher and PhD student in Quality of Experience in networked media. Inge holds a PhD in Information and Communication Technology and a Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from NTNU.
