Caroline Isern leads the Latino Focus initiative at New American Funding. Through Latino Focus, the company identifies and addresses the challenges of Hispanic consumers in their pursuit of homeownership and to enhance the quality of their lending experience.

Utilizing education and awareness, Latino Focus works to cohesively enhance the quality of the lending experience to Hispanic consumers, aiming to lift the community and build generational wealth through homeownership.

Additionally, Caroline is responsible for building, implementing, and ensuring the execution of the company’s strategic plan and goals to increase and enable homeownership across the U.S. through the implementation of creative solutions, like the Buyer Accepted Program.

Caroline has 19 years of experience in the financial and real estate industry, nine of these executing award-winning multicultural and affordable lending, risk regulation and compliance, and relationship management strategies in residential lending implementing programs in the following areas: community development, affordable lending, consumer education, project management, and multicultural market expertise.

Prior joining New American Funding, Caroline was the Senior Vice President Sales Performance Manager for Bank of America, responsible for developing and executing Divisional OCC regulatory and retail market plans focused on first-time homebuyers, low-to moderate income, and multicultural segments for the Southeast Region. She was also responsible for driving the National Community Reinvestment Coalition Housing Rehab Fund Growth initiative in 12 minority majority markets in efforts to deliver Community Revitalization Solutions and served on the Atlanta Hispanic Latino Growth Council, helping the Bank support Latino community initiatives in Atlanta.
