VP Portfolio Retention at New American Funding

David Luber, MBA has an extensive and diverse work experience. David started their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an officer and later as an enlisted member. During their time in the Marines, they took on various leadership roles and was selected to personally advise the Commandant of the Marine Corps on space, cyberspace, and directed energy matters.

After leaving the military, David worked at Logos Technologies LLC as a Vice President, where they led the company's operations for six years. Following that, they pursued further education at The Wharton School, where they earned their MBA.

David then entered the mortgage industry, starting with Freedom Mortgage. David first served as the SVP Operations, where they established and led the operational support team called "The Nest." Later, they became the SVP of Sales, focusing on cash-out refinances and surpassing the goal of $1 billion in originations per month.

Moving on, David joined Ditech Financial LLC as the VP of Consumer Direct Sales. Here, they played a key role in launching an internal Consumer Direct Acquisitions team and improving customer service scores through effective risk management.

After their time at Ditech Financial LLC, David worked at Carrington Mortgage Holdings as the VP of Sales Optimization. In this role, they drove significant growth through segmented marketing, data-driven lead flow, and the implementation of a new CRM system.

Currently, David is working at New American Funding as the VP of Portfolio Retention.

Throughout their career, David Luber has demonstrated a track record of driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging data-driven insights for success in various industries, particularly in the mortgage industry.

David Luber, MBA, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. David also holds two Master of Science (MS) degrees, one in Applied Physics and another in Space Systems Operations, both from the Naval Postgraduate School. David furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
