Since 2009, 100% of high school seniors employed by New City Kids have graduated high school, 99% have gone to college, and 90% complete college by age 25 - 10x the national average for low-income youth. Youth from 1st-12th grade are immersed in an academic and artistic environment 5 days a week at our after school centers. 

Our vision is to walk with a child from age six to age nineteen and be an advocate, family, teacher and mentor to that child. We strive to set these children on a path of life transformation that will carry them forward for the rest of their lives.

New City Kids has a national vision with a powerful local impact, currently serving alongside over 500 youth a day in three cities: Jersey City, NJ, Paterson, NJ, and Grand Rapids, MI.

The Program and Operations team at New City Kids is dedicated to developing and managing innovative educational and artistic programs that support the growth of youth from 1st to 12th grade. This team oversees the implementation of initiatives that ensure high school seniors achieve graduation and transition successfully to college, while also engaging donors and securing funding to sustain these impactful programs. Through collaboration and advocacy, they create a nurturing environment that fosters life transformation in the communities they serve.
