Margaret Flannery

Youth Counselor... Clinician... Clinical Director... at New Directions

Margaret Flannery began working for New Directions' H.G. Lewis Campus School in 2018 as a School Social Worker, providing for the mental health, behavioral, and trauma needs of day-school students. Margaret had previously worked for New Directions Youth and Family Services since 1998, in various roles including Youth Counselor, Clinician, Clinical Director, Program Director of the Titan House Program, and Clinical Director of the Wrapaound Program.

Margaret Flannery began their educational journey in 1975, when they attended Nativity Of Our Lord Elementary School until 1978. Margaret then went on to Mount Mercy Academy, where they earned their NY Regents High School Diploma in 1982. Following that, they attended John Carroll University from 1982 to 1985, although they did not earn a degree. In 2000, they earned their MSW from the University at Buffalo in Social Work. Finally, in 2010, they earned their Certified degree in EMDR, Eye Movement De-Sensittization and Reprocessing from Ricky Greenwald.
