New Directions
Olivia Bango has worked in a variety of roles in the social work field since 2014. Olivia began as a Mentor for the Children of Wounded Warrior Foundation in 2014 and then moved on to Butterfly Kisses Childcare in 2017, where they worked as a Lead Daycare Teacher, Assistant Director Intern, and Assistant Daycare Teacher. In 2020, they became a Residential Case Manager for New Directions Youth and Family Services, and in 2021 they worked as a Social Work Intern for Compeer of Greater Buffalo. Currently, they are a Clinical Social Work Intern for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and a Foster Care Case Manager for New Directions Youth and Family Services.
Olivia Bango attended the University at Buffalo from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services. Olivia then returned to the University at Buffalo in 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2023 with a Master of Social Work in Social Work.

We provide preventive & community-based programs, educational services, residential campuses, group homes, traditional & therapeutic foster care and adoption.
