Ashraf H. currently serves as the Head of Community Organising at New Economics Foundation since January 2024. Prior to this role, Ashraf held positions including Head of Learning & Impact at The Foyer Federation and Head of Social Impact at Mayday Trust. Ashraf's extensive experience in community organizing began as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education, followed by roles such as Community Organizing Trainer and Project Director at Ahel Organisation. Ashraf also worked as a Training Manager at Nokia and Project Coordinator at RTC, focusing on peacebuilding and conflict resolution. In 2012, Ashraf contributed to networking and capacity building for UNDP. Ashraf's educational background includes a Master of Science in Comparative Public Policy from The University of Edinburgh, leadership and community organizing studies at Harvard University, and master's and bachelor's degrees in advanced communication and engineering from Damascus University and Arab International University, respectively.
