Richard Cleary has over 40 years of work experience in the aerospace industry. Richard began their career in 1979 as a Director at Hamilton Sundstrand. In 1990, they moved to United Technologies as an Executive Assistant. In 2000, they became the Vice President & General Manager of Caval Tool, a precision machining company serving the commercial and military engine industry. In 2002, they were the Vice President of Marketing at The Purdy Corporation, a precision manufacturing company of aerospace components and helicopter transmission systems. In 2005, they became the Vice President and General Manager of Capewell Components Company. From 2008 to 2013, they were President & COO of Hygrade Precision Technologies, Inc., a small business precision machine shop. From 2013 to 2015, they were General Manager of Sterling Machine Company, Inc. From 2015 to 2020, they were General Manager of ATI Forged Products. Richard is currently the Vice President Of Development at the New England Air Museum.
Richard Cleary obtained a Master of Science in Management from Rensselaer at Work in 1994 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1979.
