Multicultural Community Outreach Program Manager at New England Donor Services

Ingrid Palacios has a diverse range of work experience. Ingrid began their career as a Spanish Medical and Legal Interpreter at Medi-Trans Med Comp USA in 2002 and worked there until 2007. In 2007, they joined The MENTOR Network as a Bilingual Family Centered Specialist and stayed until 2010. From 2007 to 2011, they also worked as a Spanish Medical Interpreter at Ambassador Service Group. In 2010, they became a Latino Drop-Out Prevention Specialist at Durham Public Schools, where they worked until 2011. In the same year, they joined InterAct Family Safety and Empowerment Center as a Bilingual Family Counselor, staying until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Family Support Coordinator at Carolina Donor Services. In 2014, they joined New England Donor Services as a Family Services Coordinator, where they worked until 2019. Ingrid then became a Community Outreach Coordinator, and later a Multicultural Community Outreach Program Manager at the same company, starting in 2017 and 2021 respectively.

Ingrid Palacios has pursued various educational and certification programs throughout their academic journey. Ingrid obtained a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, demonstrating their commitment to promoting inclusivity. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from Universidad Central de Venezuela, honing their understanding of global affairs.

Ingrid also holds a Program Certification in English as a Second Language (ESL)/ English as a Foreign Language (EFL) from Durham Technical Community College, highlighting their dedication to language education. Furthermore, they completed an Associate's degree in Special Events Organization Management from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Protocolo y Turismo, revealing their proficiency in managing and organizing special events.

Additionally, Ingrid Palacios holds a High School Diploma from Colegio Loyola Gumilla, emphasizing their grounding in the humanities and humanistic studies. Apart from their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. These include the Certification & Training Program (CIT) for Medical Interpreters from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, as well as the Certification & Training Program (CIT) for Medical Interpreters from Cross Cultural Communication Systems, Inc. (CCCS). Furthermore, they have completed the NLP Life Coach & NLP Practitioner Certification Program from MindBridge NLP & Coach Trainings™, expanding their skills in coaching and personal development.
