Michael Barbara

Michael Barbara has a diverse work experience in the forestry and investment industry. Michael started their career as an Analyst at New Forests Asset Management, where they provided support to various functions within the organization. Michael then moved on to become a Senior Analyst in Eco Products, gaining knowledge about environmental markets and sustainability. Michael later became a Senior Analyst in Operations, where they coordinated and supported plantation forest management. Michael eventually became an Associate Director of Investments, responsible for deal origination, investment evaluation, and fund management. Michael currently holds a position as the Director of Business Development at New Forests. Michael is also a Board Member at Aratu Forests Limited.

Michael Barbara has a strong educational background, having completed various programs in different years. In 2004 to 2006, they attended Macquarie University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, Michael pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM). In 2016, they further enhanced their skills by completing the Company Directors Course Graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
