Dan Callens

Dan Callens has extensive experience in the energy industry. Dan currently holds the position of Managing Director FLNG Operations at New Fortress Energy since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Cameron LNG for several years, starting in 2015. During their time at Cameron LNG, they held multiple roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President Operations. In these positions, Dan was responsible for overseeing various aspects of LNG plant operations, tanker export/import terminal operations, and other related functions. Dan played a key role in staffing, training, and developing the organization, as well as ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Dan Callens holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. Dan also has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business. Furthermore, they have obtained an MBA and a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business.
