Victor Favela

Victor Favela serves as Managing Director at New Fortress Energy, overseeing the construction of an offshore subsea pipeline and securing permits for the FLNG Altamira project. Previously, Victor held the role of Vice President of Permitting, leading permitting strategies for major energy projects. With experience as a Senior Project Manager at Cheniere Energy and Principal Project Manager at Kinder Morgan, Victor has been involved in various midstream projects, pipeline installations, and project management in the U.S. and Mexico. Earlier career roles at Sempra Energy included managing liquefaction trains and compressor station expansions. Education includes advanced degrees in Civil Structural Engineering and qualifications in Programme Management, Business Administration, and Climate Change from esteemed institutions.
