Nicole Zhang

Nicole Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning several years in various engineering and research roles. Nicole is currently working as a Tailings Engineer in Training at New Gold Inc. Prior to their current position, Nicole worked as a Civil Engineer in Training at Allnorth Consultants Limited, where they played a key role in the TransMountain Expansion Project and Copper Mountain rock truck haul road overpass foundation design. Nicole also provided survey assistance during their tenure at Allnorth. Before joining Allnorth, Nicole gained experience as a Material Testing Laboratory Student at Wood, where they conducted tests on concrete, aggregates, soils, and asphalt. Nicole also worked as a Project Management Student at Husky Energy and as a Bridge Design Student at Manuels River Interpretation Center. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Process Plant Student in the Utilities Department at Vale. Nicole's early experiences include roles as a Research Assistant at the Memorial Ocean Science Centre and a Laboratory Assistant at the Memorial Medical Center. Overall, Nicole has a strong background in engineering, project management, and laboratory testing in various industries.

Nicole Zhang attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering - BE degree in Civil Engineering.
