Alastair Walker

Alastair Walker has extensive work experience in the finance and investment industry. Alastair currently holds the position of Chief Investment Officer at New GX Capital since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Network Investment Partners, Private Equity from April 2018 to March 2022. Alastair also served as an Investment Director at Brait from May 2007 to March 2018, and as a Senior Executive at Anglo American Corporate Finance from April 2004 to April 2007. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Manager at Deloitte from January 2001 to April 2003, and began their professional journey as an Audit Clerk at Deloitte South Africa from January 1998 to December 2000.

Alastair Walker attended Parktown Boys from 1989 to 1993 for their secondary education. Alastair then pursued a degree in Accounting at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1994 to 1997, graduating with a B ACC.
