John Heavey

John Heavey has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. John started their career at Pioneer Investments as a Software Development Manager, where they managed development responsibilities and led a team. John then worked as a Consultant at Custom House Capital Asset Management and Claret Capital. John later joined Societe Generale SGSS as a Senior IT Consultant, where they worked on various projects for the Transfer Agency unit. John then moved to Ulster Bank/RBS as a Program Manager, overseeing regulatory projects for Corporate Banking. After that, they joined Bloomberg PolarLake as the Head of Product, responsible for product strategy, roadmap, and team leadership. John also worked as an Enterprise Implementation Consultant at Bloomberg PolarLake, providing consulting, solution architecture, and project management for EDM implementations. In recent years, they worked as Vice President of Product Management at RIMES Technologies. John took on additional responsibilities as Director at Cricket Ireland and Chairperson of the Cricket Leinster Board. Currently, they are working as the Data Management Lead at New Ireland Assurance.

John Heavey earned a B.Sc. Hons degree in Computer Science & Mathematics from University College Dublin, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Prior to that, they attended Blackrock College from 1974 to 1979, although the degree and field of study are unknown.
