Helda El-Temawi

Helda El-Temawi has a diverse range of work experience. Helda started their career at the New Jersey Innovation Institute in 2017 as a Project Manager, where they successfully managed multiple projects, created project plans, and ensured adherence to requirements. Helda also demonstrated strong communication skills and developed a deep understanding of the health information technology landscape in New Jersey.

Prior to that, from 2017 to 2022, Helda worked as a Client Services Coordinator at the NJII Healthcare iLab. In this role, they supported and facilitated practitioners in improving healthcare delivery and lowering costs through tech-based innovations. Helda provided technical support with health information technology implementation, analyzed provider needs, and prioritized work.

In 2012, Helda worked at Clustered Closets as a Personal Organizer. Helda'srole focused on maximizing space and providing one-on-one organizing services for clients' homes.

Before that, in 2017, Helda interned as a Community Health Intern at New Brunswick Tomorrow, supporting the organization's efforts to create a healthy and active community. Helda played a key role in launching a city-wide campaign and developing a free phone app to promote health services and community resources.

Lastly, from 2009 to 2017, Helda worked at JFK Medical Associates as an Office Manager and Care Gap Coordinator. Helda'sresponsibilities included overseeing office operations, ensuring healthcare gaps were met, collaborating with various healthcare programs, and attesting to Meaningful Use requirements.

In 2016, Helda completed a one-week externship at the ANTI-POVERTY NETWORK OF NEW JERSEY, where they shadowed the Executive Director and managed the member database.

Overall, Helda El-Temawi has demonstrated strong project management, client services, organizational, and community health skills throughout their work experience.

Helda El-Temawi completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health from Rutgers University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Temple University from 2007 to 2008, where they studied Health/Health Care Administration/Management. In 2004, they started their education at Middlesex College, focusing on Pre-Nursing Studies until 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Helda also obtained a certification in Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative from Rutgers University in February 2016.
