Thanh Nguyen-Tang

Thanh Nguyen-Tang is an Assistant Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, focusing on the theoretical and algorithmic aspects of machine learning within the Statistical and Algorithmic ML Lab. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, concentrating on machine learning theory, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Deakin University, where research centered on reinforcement learning and deep learning theory. Earlier, Thanh worked as a Research Assistant at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, specializing in information theory for deep learning. Thanh holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and Computer Science from Deakin University, a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Danang University of Science and Technology.
