Sheldon M. Steele II, M.A., is an experienced arts and education professional with a background in programming, production, and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Steering Committee Member for the Creating Change Symposium: D.E.I. at New Jersey Theatre Alliance and as the Director of Programming & Production at Newark Symphony Hall, Steele has a strong commitment to community engagement through the arts. Previous roles include Director of Programs at Youth Action YouthBuild, Arts & Education Program Coordinator and Curriculum Developer at Broadway Inspirational Voices, and Founding Theatre Educator at Great Oaks Charter Schools - NYC. Steele holds a Master of Arts in Arts Management and Executive Leadership and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Rider University.
