Teri Cotter has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Teri started their career in 2003 as a Discharge Planner/Social Worker at Salina Regional Health Center. In this role, they assisted with discharge planning and provided social work services to patients. In 2007, Teri joined the New Mexico Department of Health as a Health Care Surveyor/Investigator. Their responsibilities involved investigating allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation in state-funded programs for individuals with disabilities. Teri later became the Deputy Bureau Chief and currently holds the role of Bureau Chief - Incident Management Bureau.
Teri Cotter completed their Bachelor of Social Work degree at Bethany College from 2001 to 2003.
